The Vancouver Titans are here! Along with their branding, the Titans have also announced their roster. All of Runaway, one of the most sought-after Contenders teams, has been signed.
After their season 2 championship win in Contenders Korea, Runaway announced their signing to the Overwatch League. For months, fans have waited and speculated to see which team Runaway would represent. The Vancouver Titans will be ditching their signature pink and blue jerseys for that of blue and green. Their Sasquatch mascot is a nod towards the Pacific Northwest’s most famous figure in folklore.
Members of the team include Kim “Haksal” Hyo-jong, Lee “Stitch” Choong-hui, and Lee “Hooreg” Dong-eun on DPS. Park “Bumper” Sang-beom is the only player classified as a tank; he is also listed as a support. Lee “Twilight” Ju-seok and Kim “SLIME” Sung-jun make up the support line, alongside the only non-Runaway signing, Kim “Rapel” Jung-geun. Rapel previously played for Element Mystic. Rounding out the roster are flex players, Seo “SeoMinSoo” Min-soo and Choi “JJANU” Hyeon-woon.
The Vancouver Titans will be coached by Hwang “paJion” Ji-Sub, Harsha “Harsha” Bandi, and Runaway’s former coach Kwon “Yang1” Yang-won.
