On Tuesday December 15, the Boston Uprising announcing the signing of former Paris Eternal and Los Angeles Valiant DPS Terence “SoOn” Tarlier. SoOn joins the Uprising as one of the most veteran players on the roster, and marks the third roster addition for Boston this offseason.
While on the Eternal, SoOn had a bit of a bounce back performance from his 2019 season. His Tracer play remained at an all-time high, and helped Paris ultimately become one of the breakout teams in 2020. He joins the Uprising DPS line of Kelsey “Colourhex” Birse and Jin-ui “im37” Hong. SoOn will most likely be the Uprising’s Tracer specialist, though he has shown some flashes of greatness on sniper heroes like Widowmaker.

The signing of SoOn also notes that Boston is focused on utlizing multiple DPS players for 2021. Boston struggled last season when the roster suffered hits at the damage position. Now adding a third damage dealer, Boston appears ready for any new hurdle the League throws at them.
