The third and final OWL homestand weekend is officially underway, with doors opening at The Novo at 11:00 am PST. For fans that are beginning to pour into the arena and into the surrounding area, here is your guide to this exciting weekend.
Parking in the nearby area is incredibly expensive and hard to come by. Because of that, if it’s possible, ride-sharing to the event would be optimal. If a ride-share is unavailable and lodging near the arena is all booked up, here is an image of parking in the LA Live area.
Getting to the Novo
Once in the area, getting to the Novo can be pretty tricky due to its location on the third floor amidst several other highrise buildings. The Novo is located on the corner of Olympic Blvd. and Figueroa St. in the LA Live square. Here is the exact location from a Google Maps search.
Things to do Inside the Novo
Once inside the arena, the fun really begins. On the main level, there are a laundry list of interactive things for fans to participate in ranging from 1v1 Overwatch matches to getting a custom-made Upper Deck playing card supporting an OWL team that is a part of the weekend. There is also a beautiful, full bar for those interested and of age.
What are the Seats Like?
Although there are some VIP seats on the ground level, most of the seats fans will be in are on the 5th floor of the event, with the Bud Light lounge being on the 4th floor. The seats in the balcony, although quite high vertically, offer a good view for all fans. Here’s a view from the balcony.
This weekend is looking like one that is going to be spectacular and right on-par with all of the other venues thus far. Although, for Valiant fans, their hoping for more than just a fun weekend – they want wins. They want playoffs.
