There is a change-up from last season’s Grand Finals. When the play-in tournaments are done, the top 5 teams in the West region and top 3 teams in the East region will be drafted into groups of four. There will then be a two concurrent double-elimination brackets that teams will compete in to determine the top 2 teams from each group.

Those four teams that advance from these groups will move on to the single-elimination Grand Finals bracket. Both of the matches from this bracket will be occurring on Sunday, October 1 and culminating with the crowning of the Overwatch League’s newest champion!
