Overwatch 2 Season 20 Release Date

The Overwatch 2 Season 20 Release Date will be on December 9, 2025.

This season will run until sometime in February as the December season did in 2024. This is because Overwatch 2 is at least consistent with their content. Even writing that is funny based on how bad things had been near the end of the original Overwatch.

New Hero or Map?

During this season, we will be getting a new Hero.

Vendetta was revealed and will be a new melee DPS hero. For those who are wondering, yes, she will bring back the memories of Doomfist when he was a DPS hero. Hopefully, though, the team will have learned from past mistakes and not release Vendetta as an overpowered menace. On the other hand, hopefully they do because she looks like a ton of fun.

Other Additions

Not much else has been confirmed for this season just yet.

More will get revealed over the coming weeks as they start with the Vendetta trial weekend. After that, they will likely announce the new heroes being added to Stadium and likely something relating to the battle pass.

As with each new season, Overwatch 2 will continue to bring out great new content. There is little doubt that fans have enjoyed steady updates, but could there be more? The devs have promised even bigger updates coming soon and that fans should be on the lookout.
