It has been some time but the next Hero, if you want to call her that, is finally arriving to Overwatch 2. We have had teasers for someone from Italy who was a champion of the Colosseum. Meet, Vendetta, “Hero” 45 for Overwatch 2 and see what her Abilities could be.
The Overwatch 2 Vendetta Abilities have not yet been revealed.
But as with all Overwatch 2 heroes, we can gleen something from their reveal trailer.
For starters, it looks likely that she will be another melee hero. While Vendetta may look like a tank, it seems as though she will be a DPS. She will likely have her basic attacks be her sword.
Beyond this, there were a couple of moves that she did in the trailer. One is that she can block attacks with her sword while running into battle. Vendetta also looked to be able to buff herselt from her sword in some capacity or another. Not only does the Wolf glow red but her sword also has what looks to be white and black flames surrounding the blade.
At one point, she also jumps and stubs into the Omnic. This could be her dash or ability to get into the fight from a distance. One move that has to be an ability is that she throws her sword and then jumps straight to it. Lastly, she is able to do some sort of ranged line attack from her sword with that buff, powerup or aura that is coming from her sword.
You can watch the full reveal below.
Vendetta will be joining Overwatch 2 as a “Hero” who seems to be true to her namesake.
She is out to get the heroes of Blackwatch and will not apologize for it. The story shows her in the Colosseum fighting an Omnic while giving us her background. Her father was killed but he taught her how to maintain her rage and wait for the best opportunity to strike. It seems that she is out for revenge and that her time waiting is finally over.
No matter what, players are likely going to really enjoy her. Vendetta will be available to test on Overwatch 2 between November 26 and December 1, 2025.
