Overwatch 2 is doing another big collaboration. This time it will be with the iconic mech anime, Gundam Wing for its 30th Anniversary. Here is a look at all of the Overwatch 2 Gundam Wing Skins that were just revealed and arriving soon.
These skins will be arriving on April 29, 2025. So, just a few days after the official reveal.
We say official due to the fact that these skins were rumors and then leaked some time ago. Many fans have been excited for them as Gundam is a very popular franchise in its own right. Gundam Wing alone has been around for 30 years. Numerous other storylines and shows have been added since then.
As for Overwatch 2, this continues to show the strong connection that Blizzard and Activision have. As they try to combat the growing popularity of other games, they have started to lean on major collaborations to help keep the fans interested.
This one will be especially interesting for many fans as everyone knows about mech suits even if they have never really watched any Gundam.
This season has already seen the addition of a new hero and the new Stadium Game Mode.
Add in these skins and this is probably one of the biggest seasons to date. Season 15 also made the major addition of new abilities with Perks. Many players have felt that the game is heading in a new and positive direction. One that could help it to bring its major following back to the one-time Game of the Year award recipient.
