After a week of sitting out due to COVID-19 positive tests, the Vegas Golden Knights are set to play this week on Friday against the Los Angeles Kings. The NHL rescheduled four Golden Knights games including their Jan. 28 matchup against the St. Louis Blues.
Rescheduled Games
The four rescheduled Golden Knights games are as followed:
Feb. 13 at San Jose Sharks at 1 pm PST (originally scheduled on Feb. 1)
Feb. 25 at San Jose at 7:30 pm PST (originally scheduled on Feb. 3)
March 22 vs. St. Louis at 7 p.m. PST (originally scheduled on Jan. 28)
April 23 at Anaheim Ducks at 7 p.m. PST (originally scheduled on Feb. 26)
Statement from General Manager Kelly McCrimmon
Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon, along with providing the reschedule update, gave a statement today via a Zoom media conference yesterday morning. “We’re pleased to say that to those people [who tested positive] are all healthy and doing well,” McCrimmon stated. “We’ve now had four days of all negative tests, which is encouraging. Our expectation is to continue this week as scheduled with games against LA this weekend.”

In addition, Vegas general manager also said that “the team will hold practices Wednesday and Thursday” before their Friday and Sunday games this week. Also, Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb was placed on long-term injury reserve after sustaining a lower body injury during the Blues game last Tuesday. McNabb will miss at least 10 games.
Golden Knights Players and Staff Placed on NHL’s Virus Protocol List
The Vegas Golden Knights posted that “three coaches, one NHL roster player and one taxi squad player entered the league’s virus protocols” during their time off the ice. One of those players was defenseman Alex Pietrangelo, who signed with the team last offseason.
