Buffalo Sabres win the 2021 NHL Draft Lottery

The Buffalo Sabres have won the 2021 NHL Draft Lottery and will have the first selection in the 2021 NHL Draft. This will be their second time selecting first in the last three years (2018) and fourth time selecting in the top three in the last eight years (2014, 2015, 2018). The newest NHL franchise, the Seattle Kraken, have the second overall pick in the upcoming NHL Draft. This will be their first ever selection in franchise history.

2nd pick: Seattle Kraken

3rd pick: Anaheim Ducks

4th pick: New Jersey Devils

5th pick: Columbus Blue Jackets

6th pick: Detroit Red Wings

7th pick: San Jose Sharks

8th pick: Los Angeles Kings

9th pick: Vancouver Canucks

10th pick: Ottawa Senators

11th pick: Chicago Blackhawks

12th pick: Calgary Flames

13th pick: Philadelphia Flyers

14th pick: Dallas Stars

15th pick: New York Rangers
