The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that forward Artemi Panarin is out of tonight’s lineup against the Montreal Canadiens. The Blue Jackets public relations department made it clear that Panarin is out for an illness. Panarin is due to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and made it clear that he will test free agency.
The Feb. 25 trade deadline is days away and Panarin been one of the main subjects across the league. Teams like the Nashville Predators, Boston Bruins, New York Islanders and the Florida Panthers had been inquiring for the Russian forward.
