Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Zach McPhearson is out for the season with a torn Achilles according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
McPhearson, 25, suffered the injury in Philadelphia’s Thursday night preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. He was one of a few injuries the Eagles suffered throughout the game.
In two seasons, McPhearson has two passes defended and 30 total tackles. The Eagles lose secondary depth with the loss of McPhearson, who played 112 defensive snaps last season.
