The Washington Football Team has lost two core pieces to injury in Week 4. In WFT’s win against the Atlanta Falcons, guard Brandon Scherff and tight end Logan Thomas left the game and now have injury designations.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Scherff, a four-time Pro Bowler and First Team All-Pro in 2020, suffered a sprained MCL in Week 4. This will likely keep him off the field for 2-3 weeks. Thomas, in his first season with Washington, suffered a sprained hamstring which will likely be a week-to-week injury.
Scherff and Thomas join four other Football Team members on the injury report as of Sunday at game time. Stay tuned to TGH for more NFL injury reports, including more information on Scherff and Thomas.
