Commanders Release Ereck Flowers

The Washington Commanders are releasing offensive lineman Ereck Flowers according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Flowers, 27, was a first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He has spent time with the Giants, Jaguars and Dolphins. As both a guard and a tackle, he has started 101 games in his career.

The Commanders will have to replace some of their offensive line after Flower was cut and Brandon Scherff left in free agency.
