Washington Commanders Re-Sign Bobby McCain on 2-Year Deal

Commanders re-sign Bobby McCain

The Washington Commanders have agreed to re-sign defensive back Bobby McCain on a two-year, $11 million deal according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

McCain, 28, was a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He has played for Miami and Washington over his seven-year career. He has 317 total tackles and 11 interceptions in his career. In 2021, his lone season with Washington, he had 63 total tackles and four interceptions.

Washington is getting a versatile defensive back in McCain. He has played both safety and corner in his career giving the team some flexibility.
