Free-agent linebacker Vontaze Burfict was arrested early Saturday morning in Nevada on a misdemeanor battery charge, according to Clark County court records.
Burfict is being held on $1,000 bond and a hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday.
Burfict, who is currently a free agent has not played in the NFL since being suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season following a vicious hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle in Week 4 last season while playing for the Raiders.
