The Buffalo Bills have placed high-priced linebacker Von Miller on injured reserve. A knee injury landed Miller on IR, and the designation means he will officially miss at least the next four games. The Bills play the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football this week.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Miller, fresh off a Super Bowl victory after his less-than one-year stint with the Los Angeles Rams, signed with the Buffalo Bills on a huge six-year, $120 million deal. He helped beat his former team in the very first game of the 2022-2023 NFL season.
In 11 games this season, Miller has recorded 21 combined tackles, including eight sacks. He also has two pass deflections and a forced fumble to his name this year. His sack total with two teams last year was 9.5, putting him on pace to beat that mark if he returns healthy.
