Various NFL Players Requesting Their Teams to Sign Antonio Brown

Publish Date: March 28, 2021

Several NFL players are requesting their respective teams to sign Antonio Brown after he and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV.

One of the most well-known athletes to ask his team to sign Brown, is Seattle Seahawk quarterback, Russell Wilson. Reports of Wilson’s lobbying come from ESPN’s John Clayton of 93.7 The Fan.

“I think there’s going to be some interest here in Seattle unfortunately. Although I don’t want to see him here, I know that you’d probably need to give him a raise from Tampa,” Clayton said on his radio show earlier this week. “I know Tom’s pushing to get him, Russell Wilson’s pushing to get him.” he later added.

The NFL previously suspended Brown from play after a number of code of conduct violations and accusations of sexual assault during the 2019 NFL season. After his eight-game suspension ended during the 2020 season, Brown signed with the Buccaneers as a late addition. A result expected with Tom Brady lobbying the team to sign him.

Trent Williams Tries To Steal Antonio Brown

Russel Wilson isn’t the only one trying to convince Brown to switch teams. Trent Williams, left tackle for the San Fransico 49er’s also appears to be trying to lobby his team to sign Brown.

On Thursday, March 25, a fan page for the 49ers, noticed Williams commented on Brown’s Instagram LIVE.

Brown noticed Williams’ comment and pinned it in the LIVE.

However, despite Brown pinning the comment, Brown is still likely to return to the Buccaneers for the 2021 season.

In a recent interview with reporters, Brown commented that he and ex-Bucs player Lenord Flounette are currently weighing their options.

“Me and playoff Lenny gonna work this out,” Brown said in the interview with Bucstracker.

Fournette recently re-signed with the Bucs.
