Dallas Cowboys’ defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford is out for the season and is set to have hip surgery the team announced on Twitter Tuesday.
His hip issue has dated back to last year and he will miss the rest of the season to have surgery to correct the problem.
Crawford, 29, had one sack in four games played this season. He was in his seventh-year with the Cowboys and has 23 career sacks for the team.
This will hurt the depth of the Dallas defensive line, so starters DeMarcus Lawrence and Robert Quinn will likely have to play more snaps.
