The Tennessee Titans have cut cornerback Janoris Jenkins, who chooses to go by his nickname, “Jackrabbit.” He was under contract for the 2022 season, which will now be voided, making Jenkins a free agent.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday morning.

Jenkins spent just one season in Tennessee, but had originally signed a two-year, $15 million contract in March of 2021. During his one season as a Titan, he played in 14 games, starting 13 of them. He had 54 combined tackles, one interception and six defended passes.
In 2012, Jenkins was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the NFL Draft. He spent four seasons there before becoming a Giant, spending three-plus seasons in New York. This release will not be his first, as the Giants let him go, allowing him to become a Saint, who, themselves, released him.
