Patrick, 28, has played four seasons with Denver. He has 143 receptions for 2,009 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career.
After having two straight seasons of over 700 receiving yards, Patrick was projected to have a key role in the Broncos’ offense, especially with Russell Wilson joining the team.
Now, the Broncos will rely on Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler at the wide receiver position. All have had injuries throughout their young careers, so the limited depth will make their health important.
Denver also lost running back Damarea Crockett for the season to a torn ACL during practice Tuesday.
