The Houston Texans have reached a deal with free agent wide receiver Braxton Berrios according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It is a one-year, $2 million deal.
Berrios, 29, has played six NFL seasons with time spent with the Jets and the Dolphins. In his career, Berrios has 134 catches for 1,323 yards and six touchdowns.
Last season for the Dolphins, Berrios didn’t register a catch in six games played. His 2024 season was cut short due to a torn ACL.
The Texans will be getting more receiver depth, which was needed after Tank Dell was injured again last season and Stefon Diggs hit free agency. Berrios also brings experience as a returner.
