The Houston Texans have signed safety Terrence Brooks to a one year deal. His new deal is worth $2 million as he returns to the team he played for in 2021. Houston is also re-signing tight end Antony Auclair as the legal tampering window opens.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the Brooks news via his Twitter account on Monday.

Brooks was drafted in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He played for the Ravens for two seasons before bouncing around to the Eagles, Jets, Patriots and now, the Texans. 2021 was Brooks’ first season in Houston. He played in 11 games, starting just three, and had 21 combined tackles last season.
Auclair, a Canadian, went undrafted in the NFL, but was drafted into the CFL. He had just five receptions, but had a catch rate of 100 percent. Auclair only had 47 yards, but did catch a touchdown.
