The Tennessee Titans have fired head coach Mike Vrabel according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Tennessee also thought about trading Vrabel, but thought the process would take too long according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini. Titans’ owner Amy Adams Strunk noted that she wanted a fresh start to the franchise.
Vrabel spent six years as the head coach in Tennessee and posted a record of 54-45. He made the playoffs in three of six seasons. The Titans registered a 13-22 record over the last two years.
