Free agent cornerback Tariq Woolen has agreed to a one-year, $15 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Adam Schefter.
Woolen, 26, spent the first four seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, where he won a Super Bowl last season. The one-time Pro Bowler has 53 passes defended and 12 interceptions in his career. Last season, he tallied 12 passes defended and one interception.
Philadelphia had a need at outside corner and Woolen will help with that right away as the first outside free agent they have reached terms with this season. He will join a cornerback room that includes Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
