The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded the New England Patriots for offensive guard Shaq Mason according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
New England will receive a 2022 fifth-round pick for Mason.
Mason, 28, has played seven seasons for the Patriots after being a fourth-round pick. He has started 98 games for the franchise.
In Tampa Bay, Mason will help the Buccaneers replace Ali Marpet, who retired, and Alex Cappa, who signed with the Bengals in free agency.
