The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul have agreed to a two-year deal worth $27 million according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Pierre-Paul, 31, spent the last two seasons with the Bucs after playing the first eight years of his career for the Giants. He had 8.5 sacks and nine tackles for loss last season. In his career, he has 79.5 sacks and 112 tackles for loss.
Tampa Bay had an improvement on defense last season and the retention of Pierre-Paul and Barrett should help them keep that going.
