Free agent safety Talanoa Hufanga has reached a deal with the Denver Broncos, according to Jordan Schultz. It is expected to be for one year.
Hufanga, 26, spent the first four seasons of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. He has 219 total tackles, 14 passes defended and seven interceptions in his career. In 2024, he registered 38 total tackles, but was only able to play in seven games after dealing with several injuries.
In Denver, Hufanga joins Brandon Jones as safeties in what should be an improved back-end of the defense.
