Defensive end Takk McKinley has agreed to a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Cleveland Browns according to multiple sources.
McKinley, 25, is a former first round pick by the Atlanta Falcons. He spent four years with the team notching 17.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss. After the Falcons cut McKinley in 2020, he signed with three other teams, but was unable to see the field.
The Browns already have a premier pass rusher in Myles Garrett, but will hope that McKinley can live up to his pre-draft hype on this manageable deal.
