The Pittsburgh Steelers have completed a trade to acquire wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. from the Indianapolis Colts, according to Tom Pelissero. It is a late-round pick swap for this deal.
Pittman, 28, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. In Indy, Pittman had 485 catches for 5,254 yards and 25 touchdowns. In Pittsburgh, he will join DK Metcalf to help improve the receiving core.
Indianapolis decided to re-sign Alec Pierce and now ship off Pittman to clear some cap space.
