Former third overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft Solomon Thomas will sign a one-year, $5 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first to report the news.
The #Raiders are signing DL Solomon Thomas to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, per source. A new home for Thomas, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 draft who’s still only 25.

Thomas, 25, had six sacks and 16 tackles for loss for the 49ers in four seasons with the team. The defensive lineman showed versatility with the team, as he was able to line up on the edge and on the interior.
The Raiders have needed good pass rushers over the last few years and will hope that Thomas can show why he was picked so highly in the 2017 NFL Draft.
