It is still up in the air whether Chris Harris Jr. will hit free agency come the new league year. If the Broncos allow this to happen, the cornerback will not have trouble finding a new home as he already has teams interested in pursuing him.
Denver7 sports anchor and Broncos Insider, Troy Reneck, reported Monday that several teams have interest in the cornerback. The Cowboys, Jets, Raiders, Texans and Lions are entertaining the idea of bringing in the Pro Bowler.
Talking to league sources about #Broncos free agents. On @ChrisHarrisJr, there is interest from multiple teams, including Cowboys, Raiders, Texans, Jets and Lions. #Broncos’ stance continues to be to let Harris test market. There will be a market for him. #Denver7 pic.twitter.com/n4Tb2UeaSU

Over his nine year NFL career, Harris has started 121 games, totaling 20 interceptions, 86 pass deflections, six forced fumbles and a whopping 518 combined tackles. As a result, the corner has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times and earned First Team All-Pro honors in 2016.
With an impressive stat line and experience, Harris would make a great addition to any secondary. It is no wonder that he has a market forming for him before the new league year has begun.
A team to look out for in pursuing Harris is the Dallas Cowboys. Recently, the Cowboys stated that they would be letting their Pro Bowl corner, Byron Jones, hit the free agent market. Harris would bring a lot of experience to the young Dallas secondary. In addition, the Cowboys could get a better deal for Harris than for Jones. Keep in mind, the Cowboys still need to pay pending free agents Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper.
