Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas both were injured on Sunday, so the 49ers have signed defensive end Ziggy Ansah according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The 49ers are finalizing a one-year deal with veteran DE Ziggy Ansah, per source. Expected to be done this week after Covid protocols. @RapSheet 1st reported Ansah was flying to meet with team for expected signing.

Ezekiel Ansah, 31, played the first six seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions. Last season, he played 11 games for the Seattle Seahawks. In his career, Ansah has totaled 50.5 sacks.
The 49ers will hope that Ansah can play like he did in 2017, when he registered 12 sacks. He’ll likely get a lot of playing time because of the injuries to the defensive line.
