According to Rapoport, Armstead can earn up to $85 million with the new deal. Armstead has spent his five-year career with the 49ers and had a career-year last season. He registered 10 sacks and 11 tackles for loss as the 49ers went to the Super Bowl.
With Armstead back, the 49ers will have one of the best defensive lines in the game once again.
