New Orleans is reported to be adding two veteran players to their roster, one on each side of the ball. Running back Kareem Hunt and linebacker Anthony Barr are both expected to sign with the Saints pending passed physicals.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini was first to report the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Hunt began his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2017, when he was drafted in the third round with the 86th pick. He made his only Pro Bowl during his rookie season, and also led the NFL in rushing yards.
The Vikings drafted Barr in 2014, and kept him on the roster for eight seasons until his contract ran out and he signed with the Cowboys for one year in 2022. During his only season with Dallas, he played in 14 games, had 58 combined tackles and a sack.
