Ryan Fitzpatrick Hired by Amazon Prime For NFL Game Coverage

Ryan Fitzpatrick Hired by Amazon

Former journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been hired by Amazon Prime to host pregame, halftime and postgame coverage this season for their NFL games. Amazon released the news on Tuesday.

Fitzpatrick, 39, played with nine NFL teams in his 17 years in the league. He passed for 34,990 yards, 223 touchdowns and 169 interceptions on 60.7 percent completion.

Amazon will host 15 NFL Thursday Night Football games in 2022 and have assembled a team for the new season. The games will require a subscription to watch them. Al Michaels will handle play-by-play duties, while Kirk Herbstreit will be the color commentator, while still calling college football games for ESPN. Fitzpatrick will join Richard Sherman and Tony Gonzalez in the studio.

The list of games on Amazon Prime for the 2022 season is:

Week 7: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals

Week 8: Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 9: Philadelphia Eagles at Houston Texans

Week 10: Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers

Week 11: Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers

Week 13: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots

Week 14: Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams

Week 16: Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets

Week 17: Dallas Cowboys at Tennessee Titans
