The Baltimore Ravens have signed a new cornerback to, perhaps, help with their injury issues in the defensive backfield. Kyle Fuller has signed a one-year deal with the Ravens after failing to be traded during the 2021 season.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.
Fuller was a first round pick (14th overall) out of Virginia Tech in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He played for seven seasons with the Bears before being released in 2020. Fuller, then, was signed by the Broncos, where he played 16 games (10 starts). As stated before, the Broncos seemed to want to trade him, but a trade never took place.
In his 112 NFL games, Fuller has a combined 441 tackles, 86 passes defended, 19 interceptions and four forced fumbles. He has two Pro Bowl selections (2018 and 2019) and a First Team All-Pro selection (2018) under his belt. During his First Team All-Pro season, Fuller had a career high seven interceptions.
