The Baltimore Ravens and wide receiver Zay Flowers have agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension with $108 million guaranteed.
Flowers is coming off his best season in the league, hauling in 86 catches for 1,211 yards and five receiving touchdowns. The two-time Pro Bowler also added 10 carries for 62 yards and a rushing touchdown last season.
Flowers has been one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL since his arrival in Baltimore three years ago, and his numbers have improved each season. In his three seasons with the Ravens, Flowers has recorded 237 catches for 3,128 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns.
Flowers is only 25 years old and has become one of the key receivers and playmakers on a talented Ravens squad. He is also one of the favorite targets of two-time MVP Lamar Jackson. The Ravens are entering a new era after the departure of John Harbaugh, who served as the team’s head coach for the past 18 seasons, and will now be led by new head coach Jesse Minter.
