Higgins was drafted by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The Browns have been the only team he has played for, up until today’s signing. He played with Cleveland for six seasons. This included a one-year extension of his contract for the 2021 season.
In 2021, he played in 15 games, starting just four. On 24 receptions, Higgins racked up 275 yards and one touchdown. The 2020 season was his career best in terms of yards and touchdowns at 599 and four respectively.
