Rashaad Penny will join the defending NFC Champions for the 2023-2024 season. Reports indicate that the Philadelphia Eagles and former Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny have agreed to a new deal, the length of which is unknown at time of writing.
The NFL Network Ian Rapoport reported the news on Tuesday.
Penny was one of the most surprising first round draft pick back in the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $10 million deal with Seattle straight out of college, and produced well for them. He has, though, suffered through injury issues through the past three seasons.
In 2022, Penny played and started in five games before suffering a season-ending broken leg. On 57 rushes, he had 346 yards and three touchdowns after signing a one-year contract. Penny played in 10 games in the previous campaign, rushing for 749 yards and six scores.
