The Los Angeles Rams have lost another big piece of their offensive line. Offensive tackle/guard Joseph Noteboom suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will is officially out for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.
ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Noteboom has been a Los Angeles Ram since being drafted in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He began starting full-time for the team in 2019. Noteboom and the Rams won Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
This injury is similar to his 2019 season, in which he tore his ACL and MCL in Week 6, missing the remainder of the season. Noteboom was also placed on injured reserve in 2020, with a calf injury. He is currently on a three-year, $40 million contract.
