Rams DT Bobby Brown Suspended 6 Games

Rams defensive tackle Bobby Brown has been suspended for six games. Brown has reportedly received the suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing drugs (or PEDs). The exact nature of the PED for which he tested positive is not known at time of writing.

PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Monday afternoon.

Brown was a fourth round selection by the Rams in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was chosen with the 117th overall pick out of Texas A&M. He is listed as a nose tackle. Since he was drafted last season and played with the team, he receives a Super Bowl ring.

In 10 games (zero starts), Brown recorded no stats of note, aside from one assisted tackle. He took 22 defensive snaps (three percent) and 47 special teams snaps (17 percent) throughout the season. He also suffered a minor thumb injury during the season. Now, he will have to wait at least six games to record a meaningful snap in the NFL.
