The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly set to hire Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni to be their new head coach, according to Adam Schefter.
Eagles are hiring Colts' OC Nick Sirianni as their head coach, sources tell ESPN. Sirianni spent three seasons as a Chiefs' assistant coach, five seasons with the Chargers, and the past three with the Colts. Now the 39-year-old Sirianni becomes the lead man in Philadelphia.

Sirianni has no experience as an NFL head coach, but he will look to change the tide for the Philadelphia Eagles organization after his official hiring. Sirianni has served as the Colts offensive coordinator since 2018, in addition to being a quarterbacks, wide receivers and offensive quality control coach for the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers since 2009. His large amount of coaching experience in the NFL is certainly a positive sign for Philadelphia and their fanbase. The Eagles will look to bring about a complete change in coaching style after the recent firing of Doug Pederson.
It will surely be interesting to observe what Sirianni’s regime will be. He’ll have to figure out the Carson Wentz situation to start his head coaching career. Regardless, this head coaching change marks a new beginning for the Philadelphia Eagles and it will be something to certainly keep an eye on going into the next season.
