The teams swapped sixth-round picks to make the deal.
Goodwin, a seven-year pro, had 186 receiving yards in nine games for the 49ers last season. In his career, he has 2,323 receiving yards and 13 touchdown catches.
Last season, the Eagles had their receiving core decimated by injuries, but they have made a point to add more depth this season. With the additions of Jalen Reagor, John Hightower and Marquise Goodwin, the Eagles will be deep at wide receiver in 2020.
