Patrick Surtain II has agreed to a four-year, $98 million dollar contract extension with the Denver Broncos according to Ian Rapoport. The deal will make him the highest paid defensive back in the history of the NFL.
Surtain II, 24, has played three NFL seasons and is heading into his fourth. He is a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro. In 2023, Surtain tallied one interception and 12 passes defended. He has seven interceptions and 37 passes defended in his career.
In Denver, Surtain II will continue as their top corner as the team continues to rebuild under Sean Payton.
