The Carolina Panthers have agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with free-agent defensive end Patrick Jones II, according to Jordan Schultz.
Jones, 26, played the first four seasons of his career for the Minnesota Vikings. He has 61 solo tackles and 12 sacks in his career. The 2024 season was the best of his career, as he finished with 19 solo tackles and seven sacks.
Carolina has needed pass-rushing help and now Jones II can line up across from Jadeveon Clowney.
