The Green Bay Packers’ Randall Cobb will officially return from IR in Week 11. He can return after being placed on injured reserve post-Week 6. The team also signed wide receiver Dede Westbrook to their practice squad.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Cobb has played in six games so far this season, starting just one of them. On 26 targets from Rodgers, Cobb has 18 receptions for 257 yards and no touchdowns. He returned to Green Bay in 2021 after spending 2019 in Dallas and 2020 in Houston. His first eight years in the NFL (2011-2018) were spent with the Packers.
Westbrook was a 2017 fourth round draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent four seasons there before spending 2021 with the Vikings. He’s primarily been a wide receiver and return man during his NFL career. The Packers released their primary punt returner, Amari Rodgers, earlier today.
