The Green Bay Packers and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt have agreed to a three-year, $57 million contract extension that includes a $20 million signing bonus, according to insider Ian Rapoport.
Wyatt, a former first-round pick by the Packers in 2022, is now under contract through the 2029 season. Green Bay exercised Wyatt’s fifth-year option, worth $12.93 million for the 2026 season, last year.
Wyatt missed seven games last season after suffering a season-ending broken fibula and torn ankle ligaments. Despite the injury, Wyatt recorded four sacks, seven quarterback hits and 27 total tackles in 10 games.
Through four seasons in the NFL, Wyatt has totaled 16 sacks and 30 quarterback hits.
Wyatt figures to be a key piece of the Packers’ defense, which will now be led by new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon as the team transitions to a 3-4 defensive front.
The Packers have been busy handing out contract extensions this offseason, also extending wide receivers Jayden Reed and Christian Watson, as well as linebacker Isaiah McDuffie on a one-year extension.
