Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin has officially signed an extension. Conklin and the Browns have agreed to an extension worth up to $60 million, with at least $31 million guaranteed on the new contract.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Conklin played for four years with the Tennessee Titans after being drafted with the eighth overall selection of the 2016 NFL Draft. Ahead of the 2020 season, he leveraged his play into a three-year, $42 million deal with the Browns.
He’s been selected to the First Team All-Pro twice, during his rookie year and during his first year in Cleveland. Conklin also made the Pro Football Writers’ Association’s All-Rookie Team in 2016 as well. After suffering a season-ending patellar injury after just seven games last season, he’s managed to play 12 games this year.
