The NFL season is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are NFL week 4 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-1.5)
Arizona is 2-1, but hasn’t looked particularly good. Seattle’s defense poses some problems, as they allow 15.7 points per game. The Seahawks can limit the Cardinals’ offense especially because they will be without starting running back James Conner.
Pick: Seahawks
Minnesota Vikings (-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (Game in Dublin)
Minnesota got a win over Cincinnati and they get credit for capitalizing on the Bengals’ miscues, but they still have some issues. Carson Wentz is still expected to start and starting running back Aaron Jones is out. Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers should be able to keep the game close against the complex Brian Flores defense.
Pick: Steelers
Washington Commanders (-2.5) at Atlanta Falcons
Washington looked good against the Raiders, even without Jayden Daniels. The Falcons just got blown out by the Panthers and have a lot to figure out. The Commanders should be able to win and cover on the road, with or without Daniels.
Pick: Commanders
New Orleans Saints at Buffalo Bills (-15.5)
The Saints are a mess right now, going 0-3 to start the season and getting blown out in their first road game against the Seahawks. Buffalo is rolling on all cylinders and can cover a large spread at home.
Pick: Saints
Cleveland Browns at Detroit Lions (-7.5)
Cleveland may have just notched an upset win at home over the Packers, but now they have to go on the road to play the Lions. Detroit will be on a short week, but have rebounded well since week 1 and their offense is tough to keep up with.
Pick: Lions
Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots (-5.5)
Carolina stepped things up and had a blowout win over the Falcons. The offense looked better, which could help them against the Patriots. New England’s turnovers have haunted them. They should be able to get the win, but the Panthers can keep it close.
Pick: Panthers
Los Angeles Chargers (-6) at New York Giants
Justin Herbert is playing pretty well right now. The Giants have a good pass rush, but have different issues, including a possible quarterback change before this game. Los Angeles can win and cover on the road.
Pick: Chargers
Philadelphia Eagles (-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Philadelphia started slow against the Rams, but seemed to figure things out in the second half. With Tampa Bay having so many offensive line issues, the Eagles can cause them problems and cover.

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (-6.5)
The Titans have shown flashes of talent, but ultimately, way too many mistakes. Houston hasn’t looked particularly good either, but they are desperate for a win and should be able to protect their home field.
Pick: Texans
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams (-3.5)
The Colts are 3-0, but this will be the toughest game yet. Los Angeles was a blocked field goal away from beating the Eagles last week and look like a contender. Their defense should limit Daniel Jones and help them cover.
Pick: Rams
Jacksonville Jaguars at San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)
The Jaguars’ offensive issues paired with the 49ers playing good defense makes this an easy pick on paper. If Brock Purdy is able to come back the 49ers will especially be able to cover the spread.
Pick: 49ers
Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) at Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City has not looked like itself yet this season and even much of last season. Baltimore can score and the Chiefs may not be able to keep up in this one.
Pick: Ravens
Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders (-1.5)
The Bears seemed to figure things out offensively against the Cowboys. Las Vegas is struggling the last two weeks and can’t get the running game going. Chicago can shut it down and pull off the win on the road.
Pick: Bears
Green Bay Packers (-6.5) at Dallas Cowboys
Things are falling apart quickly for the Cowboys, as they have a bad defense and some injuries piling up. Green Bay lost to the Browns, but they should be refocused and win this game and cover on the road.
Pick: Packers
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-2.5)
Mike McDaniel had extra time to prepare for this game and is desperate for a win. The Jets have played well in stretches, but not for an entire game yet.
Pick: Dolphins
Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos (-7.5)
Cincinnati looked lost without Joe Burrow, but their ugly game against the Vikings is unlikely to repeat itself. The Broncos will likely win at home, but their offense has not had much success, leaving the door open for the Bengals to keep it close.
Pick: Bengals
