NFL Week 14 Games to Watch

The race for the playoffs is officially underway as the NFL heads into week 14 of its 2020 season. This has obviously been an odd year with games on Tuesdays and everything else. That said, the season continues on and teams prepare for another week as they hope to make the playoffs. Here is a look at the three games to watch in week 14 along with their current football odds.

Patriots at the LA Rams

The Pats will be facing an LA team for the second week in a row. This time though, their opponent will be much tougher than the Chargers. The Rams are one of the best teams in the NFL in nearly every statistical category. This is why they are currently favored at -5.5 but the bets are 50/50 currently. This is because at +5.5, the Patriots are a solid bet to take this one.

The reason being that they have won four of their last five with last week’s win being a statement win. They apparently just needed time to gel and figure out their gameplan. Now the New England defense is starting to put on a show. But, do not forget that the Rams bring the heat at every level of the game. This should be one of the best games to watch in week 14 and possibly for most of the season.

Chiefs at the Dolphins

There is no doubt that the oddsmakers are doing the Dolphins dirty this week by having them at +7.5 while at home. Sure the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are extremely good, but they barely beat a pretty bad 49ers team and have games that are very questionable. The reigning Super Bowl champions will have to prepare for a battle in Miami.

As for the Dolphins, they have one of if not the best defenses in football. Their offense is still learning with Tua Tagolvailoa at the helm but should he struggle Ryan Fitzpatrick can easily slide right in to give them a spark. This game will likely be much closer than people think and taking the line on the Dolphins may payoff in a big way.

Steelers at the Bills

Who would have thought the Steelers would lose to Washington? This ruined their bid at a perfect season in a year that has been anything but perfect. Either way, the Steelers will have a chance to prove to everyone that their Washington game was a fluke and they are one of the best teams in the NFL. For bettors this is a solid chance too as they head to Buffalo at +2.5.

Buffalo has been on a tear recently though. Josh Allen is lighting everyone up again like he was doing in the first month of the season. This offense is truly one to watch and the defense is no slouch either. Allen does seem to struggle against really good defenses, which Pittsburgh are. They will need to watch this if they want to solidify themselves at the top of the AFC against a surging Miami and New England team.

Week 14 Is Going to Be One to Watch

The headline says it all. Even with a global pandemic, NFL fans will be chomping at the bit to watch these games. Whether this means at home or in a socially distanced stadium, fans will be needing to see these three games.
